I'm Back!!

What up, what up, what up...Remember me?!?
Yup, you guessed right, its me, yours truly Mike Brown!!

Well, it's been quite some time since I last posted a personal blog... but I'm Back!!  Not really sure how many people read my blog, but I did find out that there's at least one person that reads it.. so to you I say, thanks & I appreciate your support.

Anyway, the reason for the long absence, is simply because life is going by so fast, its INSANE!  So many things have happened since my last blog.  For one (a very BIG one), my beautiful wife is preggers with our first child!! In T-minus 9 weeks, I will be the father of a precious baby girl!  Man, time has flown by, but I couldn't be more excited to welcome Belle Emery Brown into the world!!  God has blessed me beyond belief for all 26 years of my life, and HE continues to amaze me with each new blessing he bestows upon me.  God is good!

Along with preparing for the new addition, work has been crazy busy(which is a good thing), my training has been amazing(which is a great thing), and my journey to become the next big thing in the apparel world has started to really look realistic(which is both good and great).  A lot of people have taken a liking to "Insane Endustries", and I am extremely flattered and very grateful.  I hope to continue to put 100% effort into everything I do.  That's the only way I know how to operate!  Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm gonna be a DAD!?!?!

As for my bodybuilding career.... 2012 has been slow, yet great!  I chose to take the year off from competition this year and focus on my other very important parts of my life.  Even though I haven't competed, I have continued to hit the gym as if I was getting ready for the Natural Olympia all over again!  My strength has shot through the roof and I have seen significant gains this year.  I am back to having "fun" in the gym again, and I love it.  The year off has also allowed me to help out one of my amazing local sponsors, "Bakersfield Sports Nutrition".  BSN has been soo great to me and has continued to support me and stick by me.  I am extremely grateful for all they have done for me.  There is still plenty of 2012 left.... Hey, who knows... I may just shock the world and be on stage in 11 weeks at the INBA/PNBA Natural Olympia on November 8th, 2012???  Naaaahhh, he couldn't be serious... could he???  We shall see!!

Well I'm sure the next 9 weeks will be full of many adventurous days and a lot of excitement/anxiety/joy among many other emotions!  I can't wait to embark on this new chapter of my life.  I will be sure to keep you all posted on all of the happenings in my INSANE life.  I thank you all(one person) for continuing to follow my blog, my life, and my career as a bodybuilder.  I hope that I can continue to motivate you all to reach for your dreams, and never give up.  If you want something, Go get it.  Period.

God Bless!
-Mike Brown

Mike Brown- "The Vitargo Effect"

First off, let me start by saying, "If you have never heard of, or tried Vitargo S2 by Genr8.... what?? Do you live under a rock??  HaHa, but all jokes aside, Vitargo is definitely my favorite supplement, and should be your favorite as well!
I'm not one that uses a lot of supplements in my diet, frankly because I don't really believe many of them really do what they claim they do, so for me to not only use Vitargo, but stand behind it 100%.... you know it must be some good stuff!
While most, if not all carbohydrate recovery products contain waxy maize, maltodextrin, and sugar, to name a few, Vitargo S2 is the first and ONLY super soluble form of the fastest recovery/re-fuel cabohydrate ever proven in university research studies. Some of the many benefits to using Vitargo S2 are as follows:
It leaves the stomach 130% faster than maltodextrin+sugars, within 10 minutes of ingestion.  So basically, it is out of your stomach and absorbed into your muscles faster than any other carb supp on the market.  Vitargo also has 178% greater insulin than maltodextrin+sugars.  So what that means is, it turns off muscle protein breakdown, thus sparing muscle protein.  Vitargo also helps boost performance in your future workouts, as well as providing maximum endurance during your workouts.
To many, this may just seem like a bunch of "scientific mumbo jumbo" used to sell a product, so I will give you my own personal Vitargo experience.
As I said before, I dont take many supplements.  So, because of that, I am able to tell exactly how each supplement is reacting within my body.  I started using Vitargo approx. 1 year ago, when my Trainer/Nutritionist/mentor Kiyoshi Moody (3X Natural O Champ) turned me onto it.  I used it for a complete year, off season and precontest, and I thouroughly enjoyed it.
I knew that it was working amazingly, but I had no real proof, other than me saying it is great.  So, in order to really show people how amazing this product is, I decided to rid myself of every supplement for a few months and then I would start taking my Vitargo once again, but this time I would document my results.
So once March rolled around, I started taking Vitargo before and after each workout, and here we go....
Week 1:
From the first rep of the first set, til the last rep, the pumps I experienced were INSANE!.
One of the best things about Vitargo is how quickly it leaves the stomach.  Everyother carb supp that I had taken prior to discovering Vitargo, always left me feeling bloated.  But Vitargo is different, I would take my 2 scoops 10-15 mins before my workout, and there was no bloating at all.  Not only were my pumps mind-blowing, but my endurance was noticeably increased.  It made me not only hit more reps, but it made me "want" to do more.  This only increased more and more with each day.  And after continuously having my 2 scoops after each workout, my recovery time was decreased as well.  So I was able to bounce back from each workout very quickly.
Week 2
This week, I really started to notice my strength gains in the gym.  Whether it was back, leg, or chest day, I found myself adding more and more weight.  Call me crazy, but I believe Vitargo has made me stronger!!  Actually, I take it back... Don't call me crazy, because it really has!!   For example, today was a "light" chest day, but when taking Vitargo, words like "light"& "easy" don't exist.  So below is an example of a few exercises on my "light" chest day.  (Keep in mind, this is only my second full week on Vitargo S2)

Exercise 1: Flat Bench (Barbell)

Set 1: 135 lbs-Warm Up-20 Reps
Set 2: 185 lbs-Warm Up-20 Reps

Working Sets
Set 3: 225 lbs-40 Reps
Set 4: 275 lbs-20 Reps
Set 5: 315 lbs-10 Reps
Set 6: 365 lbs-5 Reps
Set 7: 405 lbs-5 Reps
Set 8: 425 lbs-1 Rep
Set 9: 225 lbs-30 Reps
*This alone is more than anything I have ever attempted!!

Exercise 2-Incline Bench (Barbell)
Set 1: 225 lbs: 20 Reps
Set 2: 275 lbs: 15 Reps
Set 3: 315 lbs: 5 Reps

So as you can see, one thing that is very clear is, my strength has risen, but most importantly, my recovery time between each set is shortened, and my endurance/conditioning was greatly increased.  There is no way I would be able to do this workout rep for rep prior to me taking Vitargo.  Just Saying....

At this point, I believe the numbers speak for themselves!!
So if you needed proof that Vitargo S2 works, I believe I just gave it to you.

I encourage everyone who reads this blog, to go out and buy Vitargo S2.
If you live in Bakersfield, you can get it at either Bakersfield Sports Nutrition location(http://www.bakersfieldsportsnutrition.com/)!!
If you don't live in Bakersfield, you can get it online @ http://www.genr8speed.com/, or at http://www.bodybuilding.com/.
